Title: Dh> Au Gratin Potatoes

1 Onions,Bermuda -- chopped
1/4cMargarine,Regular (80%
  Stick
1tbFlour,All-Purpose
1tsSalt
1/4tsPepper
2cMilk,Lowfat (2%), No Milk
  Solids

DH> 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese,Shredded DH> 1/4 Cup Bread Crumbs

DH> Peel and slice potatoes in thin cuts. Cook and stir onion in DH> margarine in 2 quart saucepan until onion is tender. Stir in DH> flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring DH> constantly until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in DH> milk and 1 1/2 c. of the cheese. Heat to boiling, stirring DH> constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Place potatoes in DH> ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Pour cheese sauce over DH> potatoes. Cook, uncovered in 375 oven for 1 hour. Mix DH> remaining cheese and bread crumbs, sprinkle over potatoes. DH> Cook uncovered until top is brown and bubbly, 15 to 20 minutes.

I will try this, it sounds like it would work, and it also sounds easy. I have never tried using bread crumbs, but it makes sense.
